“So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.” A simple lyric from Taylor Swift turned into something much bigger than I ever expected. It became the foundation for a community of women in motorsports.

Race after race, I showed up with more bracelets, more intention and more openness to connection.

 

 

Over the off-season, I made hundreds. By the 2024 season opener in St. Pete, I brought 365. That weekend, during International Women’s Day, I attended a Women in Motorsports panel hosted by Arrow McLaren. Something shifted. I wasn’t just attending anymore. I was participating. I started connecting with fans, professionals, anyone willing to talk. Most importantly, I started saying yes.

And eventually, it paid off. Today, I’m working with a NASCAR team in motorsports.
